ZCP resonator delete

Has anyone replaced the resonator on a competition package car with an h pipe? Im thinking about doing this as an alternative to getting the mpe. Any thoughts?

Dinan keeps the second cats so is not as loud as Remus or AA.

I actually like the sound of the stock zcp, just wish it was louder. Im guessing remus or dinan would be the best option since they keep the two pipe layout.

I have AA and it's a game changer in sport mode. It's definitely an attention grabber.

I have the AA midpipe and love it. Makes it about 30% louder and a little deeper. A little more burble too. Easy install that you can do yourself.

Don't you have to cut the midpipe out? If so, does the AA come with clamps or is welding required?

You are correct and yes it comes with everything you need to sintall the AA. The stock mid pipe is long AF. I had to leave mine and go back with a truck to get it. You'll need a big car or obviously a pick up to get that stock mid home.

So you only have the AA Mid Pipe on your ZCP alone, and like the overall sound....

I wonder how this would sound with DP's added, since I plan to get VRSF DP along with JB4

Thats what i have, it is quite loud and took me a week to get used to it. If you are in comfort mode it is stealth. In sport plus its super loud.

And don't forget about the smell (it is quite strong) as there will be no cats at all.

I'm good with the AA on the ZCP. It's louder in person than what the video's I've seen offer. I get plenty of heads to turn with the valve opened. here's a quick clip of mine:

I have replaced my stock exhaust with a hpipe but on a m4 without the comp pack.
First i cut the midpipe out and replaced through 65mm stainless steel.

I also have closed the holes in the rear resonator.

With this mod the sound is really awesome, not to loud and no raspy sound.

For testing i also removed the 2nd cats too to get a straight pipe after the 1st cat.
The car was too loud, even with closed valves and the sound was too raspy.
Finally i welded it back again and now im really satisfied with my exhaust.

Very nice. Why cover holes on rear res? Why are they holes in first place?
