for drag racing, dodson vs ssp

Hi, guys.
I upgraded turbo with dodson superstock, and plan to upgrade due to slip which happened on launch control mode.

The purpose is for drag racing, what I should choice, the dodson sportman or SSP.

hope to listen from drag racers!

Well, it means a bit more than nothing. It means that a shop looking to build the quickest and fastest chose dodson. Nothing more, nothing less. Would have to ask them why they made that choice to really understand what, if anything, it means.

From experience with both companies in other platforms I would choose Dodson hands down. Their R+D is superior and their products have held up longer and more consistently.

I had a sheptrans built Dodson sportsman billet box in my r35 gtr and Dodson clubman in my evo x with their heated trans pan

Back then ssp were considered the cheaper inferior setup to Dodson and drivability was hit and miss

Dodson use exedy friction discs, best name in the clutch game

Having used their clutches and billet baskets/seals on two platforms now, I wouldn't consider any other brand

Oh hello there.

Yah, Dodson all the way for both of those platforms. I have a bunch of melted frictions for an Evo X if anyone wants to see what happens to inferior ones lol.
