Best Price on Dinan Stage 1 Installed

Hello,

I am looking into getting the Dinantronics stage 1 installed by a dealer on my car. What is the best price people have paid on this, as I heard you can often get them below MSRP or at least get the install price included?

Thank you

Dinan Stage 1

I was curious about this set up too. Dinan is offering 10% if you purchase the package, John over at BMW west houston said if you join the MGRUPPE club they'll offer 15% instead of 10%, and he quoted me 2100$ for the approximate 3 days of labor.

Wait, what is 3 days of labor for?

Tune. Suspension. Intake. Exhaust. I think it was bc I wanted to leave my car over the weekend. I'm sure other shops can do it faster

Interesting... the install on the Dinan tune itself is really easy. Install for all those parts mentioned should be just a day's work

If the Dinantronic module is pre-programmed then its a simple installation.
1 hour - 1.5 max is fair for the install.
Its fairly simple and you can buy the unit pre-programmed from any Authorized Dinan dealer.
If the unit is not pre-programmed then the installation dealer needs to program the box with the appropriate software.

FYI, you can install this yourself with basic tools. It is not hard to do at all.
There are step by step instructions on the Dinan website.

The trickiest part of the install is the actual plugging into the DME. It's very narrow access if you go with Dinan's instructions. The simplest way to install is by removing the intercooler to gain access

I disagree, removing the intercooler takes longer.
I agree with the access being narrow but its easier then bleeding the charge cooler

I went through the narrow access route to install, cut all my fingers and 2 hours of Hell.

My specialist took just 15 min. to remove the intercooler, and he didn't have to bleed anything as far as I could tell.

If it's not complicated to remove it, best option and will save lots of headache and frustration
