Engine bay question

Was dusting off the engine bay and notice these white things (thread like), can u tell me what it is . please see pic with arrow in red

Hoses are fiber reinforced.

Yes. These hoses are most likely cut from a longer hose and therefore you'll see the fiber fray

You should probably not drive the car and have it towed to the dealership.
