F-series wheel on E-series car

Anyone running F-series wheels on their E-82 ? Thinking of getting Styling 304 for winter setup. Are there any issues as they are made for 14 mm lugs?

Not a good idea to use wheels meant for 14mm studs on a car with 12mm studs. Greatly reduces the contact area.

Biggest issue I've seen is that all of the desirable M-Sport wheel options on F-series cars are awkwardly sized for older BMW's. BMW stuck with 7.5 front and 8.5 rear for widths for a long time. The 228i and M235i wheels are too narrow (only 8" rear) and the the 435i uses 8" and 9" but I'm guessing the fronts will hit the struts.

Tried various F20 wheels on my car, no issues at all. Nip up the bolts with the wheels in the air, then torque on the ground. Hub bores are identical.

Keep in mind the variations in offsets and widths.
I personally didnt think much about the different contact area of the wheel bolt tapers. The overall width of the bolt is about the same.
