NTB Promo on BF Goodrich -31'st last day

NTB has a buy 3 get 1 free deal on their already pretty good price on the BFG G-Force Comp 2 A/S.

I'd been considering these given the positive write ups and good price point so bought a set tossing some RFT's with a lot of life left.

I knew I'd hear something like that - maybe not so eloquently stated.

Sure hope you're wrong, but, at least it wasn't a ton of money.

I bought a set for my Focus years ago. I put about 4,000 miles on them and pulled the wheels off. Replaced with some Chinese dirt cheap tires which turned out to be twice the tire.
The Comps gripped alright, until I tried anything else. I could corner harder on the shit tires than the name brand.
My take on it is this, marketing raises prices. It has nothing to do with quality of tire.

On the 1 I bought the Firestones. Awesome tire irregardless of the cost. I would absolutely buy them again.

On independent reviews like Tire Rack, they stacked up better than most HP all season tires and only slightly below the Michelin PS AS 3+. I know HP All Season tires are a compromise but I wasn't about to go the winter tire route given that I'm in colder areas very little.

Not sure about this, but, I think this is a newer tire. Anyway, I've got them for better or worse. I'll post my two cents on them after running them awhile.
