Which wing do you run? Help!

Hi guys,

I'm looking at getting some aero sorted soon and I'm trying to find a rear wing to run.

I've seen the apr big wing but it just looks too much. I need something with plenty of adjustability and size isn't overly important.

The Flossman dtm wing appeals to me

Does anyone run a wing like this or have any opinions on other wings that are out there?

i'll soon be venturing into the aero realm as well. i made a thread about aero in general in this forum and i picked up a few tips and tricks, but for the most part, it appears to be a trial and error game. good luck.

Look at aeromotion and the bimmerworld wings. Aeromotion has different sized risers.

wow, those aeromotion wings sound great. i looked through their website for an explanation on how it works, but didn't find anything. i imagine it changes the angle of the wing based solely on speed? any other inputs that it pays attention to? i'm trying to understand how it works.

There are some YouTube videos out there that show it in action. Looks like it monitors a number of factors.

I'm considering the Mode Carbon GTS Motorsport Wing and GT4 Motorsport front splitter to compliment it. The front splitter also has brake cooling ducts inlets. Would love to hear thoughts on this setup.

This is another way to go- I like that it is mounted to the chassis:

I would love to run a aeromotion wing but they are not legal for me to run in race series in the uk
The mode carbon wing is a little on the small side as well which is unfortunate

Lukester's M3 GT4 MKII v2013 Wing

Really wish I was at the point of adding aero now as I'm afraid these may get harder to source down the road.

Do they make that Aeromotions active wing for the M3? Looks like a GTR only fitment.

Yes. It's on their website. I'm not sure if it splits for not though like the one in the video.

My wing of choice. Not absurdly large like the APR 250 but its 67 inches and makes plenty of downforce. Im still struggling to get the front to hunker down a bit more at high speeds. Running the APR front splitter right now. Going to add canards soon.

What wing is this?
Does anyone know if this kind of wing can be mounted on a fiberglass or carbon fiber trunk lid?

i asked the same thing and was told no. it can be done, but it needs more reinforcement than carbon trunks we typically see.
