Avant Garde Ruger r10 on 135i
Hey guys so I have a friend who is getting rid of these off of his 911 and is willing to let them go for a huge discount to myself
http://avantgardewheels.com/ruger-r10.php Outside of 5x130 to 5x120 adapters, will I be able to get these to fit? The specs he sent me are: Size: 19x10.5 and 19x8.5 Offset: +52, +45 Lug Pattern: 5x130 Tires: Falken 275/40-19 & Nankang 235/35-19 I'd change the tires to new ones depending on the sizing recs ya'll offer I am on CXracing coilovers dropped about 2 inches, no fender rolling yet on stock 18s Pic of my car below Last edited by Widowmaker; 04-05-2016 at 10:54 AM.. |

offsets are actually great.
Rather than using an adapter, I'd have the wheels filled and redrilled to match BMW 5x120. Make sure the hub size is the same. If not, you'll need a hub ring. Be sure to get aluminum hub rings. If hub size is smaller, you could have it machined larger. The rear tires absolutely will not fit. Don't even bother. Fronts are trash (nankang, yuck). You'll be way off your rotational diameter as well if you try to use them. You'll want a 35 profile max up front and 30 profile in rear for 19" wheels.

Why do you recommend filled/redrilling over finding something like a hubcentric adapter? I've never fitted a wheel this wide before, what would you recommend as a good width? I'm not a fan of the stretch look at all |

Id probably cut the rear fender lips out, pull them a little, and try to put 285s back there. 275 is more likely to fit. Think there are a handful of people with 285 rears, not sure what they had to do to get it to fit. slonik didn't you do this? The only concern I would have is with a +52 offset and a 10.5" width in back, making sure you clear the fuel filler tube on the passenger side. Maybe it's not an issue, but worth thinking about IMO. You should be able to assess that by putting the wheel on the hub secured with a wheel pin before modifying things.
