New wheels on. 18" MRR FS01

Hi everyone. Wheels came last week and finally had time to get them mounted. They're MRR FS01 18x8.5 et45 and 18x9.5 et45. I opted for the brushed finish. I couldn't find any pics of these wheels on a 1 series before I purchased so hopefully it gives an idea to anyone considering them. I used my stock RF tires. I'm pretty low on my ST coilers and get a lil bit of rubbing in the rear liner on dips. I'll probably adjust the camber or roll the fenders. Sorry for the phone pics. Big thanks to Need 4 Speed for great customer service.

Looks awesome. Did you have to run a spacer on the front to get clearance to the perch/ strut?

Nice wheels!

My strut is hitting the wheel on +45 for the front.

BC BR coilovers. Having major headache considering +45 8.5J is actually optimum for the 1er.

I like em. Ride is great for the street. Not harsh at all but it I still feel pretty planted. They reminded me of the ride KW v1 I had on my A4 a few years back. Prob because they're exactly the same.

these are custom built right? why didn't you go for something like a 55-60mm rear offset? then you could run much more rubber and probably wouldn't rub.

Thanks. Was wondering how you are that low without spacers. It's because of the narrow front tire. I would probably have to run a 3mm spacer at that ride height and my 235s up front.

i probably shouldve looked into that more but honestly i figured the widest tire id go with would be a 255. I was ready to accept the task of having to do some shaving and a bit of camber. I went in thinking id get a 50mm rear offset but was suggested a 45.
