Issue with ess- tronic ??

Hey guys I just want to see if there's anyone out there having the same issue....Basically my module is locked as in I can't change any maps the only thing lit up on the module is (-) led 2 and
if I press and hold + - nothing happens but if I unplug the module
completely it goes back to normal. But when it is "frozen" the car is not
receiving any power from the module until it's unplugged and re plugged back
in? Is there a solution for this ? Does the module need to be updated? Or can it possibly be faulty? If any one has any input to what it may be it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!

I did contact him he said if I thought it was faulty to send it in it's still under warranty but nothing mentioned weather it has happened to anyone else or what exactly may have been the issue. So far it has happened 3 times.

Happening 3 times as in the your unit will begin to work correctly all on its own ?

Are you pressing/holding on the -/+ for at least 3 seconds?

OP...so I'm clear, you are saying that when its 'frozen' the piggy isn't functioning (like running stock boost)? Or are you saying that when its 'frozen' it simply will not allow you to change the tune as advertised?

I'm asking for specifics because I'm experiencing the same frozen state on my unit and I'm beginning to question if it's even functioning anymore. Or maybe it's still working and I'm just used to the added power now.

Bypass the tune and go for a spin.

It frozen and car is back to stock boost as in the (-) with the 2nd led is the only thing lit up and if you press then hold the + - nothing happens as in its frozen or " locked but the car is running stock when that happens hence why I noticed it in the first place but the only way to fix it was to un plug and plug it back in. I sent the unit back to ess I'll know more once I get the new one and try it out
