Supersprint mid-pipes

The guys from Turner Motorsports put up a clip of my F80 with Supersprint mid-pipes flowing into the stock muffler. Stock downpipes as well. I also use a CG Precision VSC-2 valve controller. I love this setup...highly recommended.

Will you pass OBDII State inspection without secondary cats?

Sounds good though price is kinda steep

They had this on sale a while back for I think $1299 free shipping. That was a good deal in my opinion.

Well...compared to some of the exhaust systems out there, I think the sound is phenomenal for the price.

Spending 5k on an after market muffler for this car makes no sense to me. I will take this sound for $1600 over those systems any day of the week. But it is totally subjective....so opinions will vary.

Im sorry SuperSprint stuff is just so over priced. I hope the OP is happy with his purchase but I definitely would not to do this. A muffler shop could replicate this for a fraction of the cost.

No regrets here....very happy.

I agree that the price is not cheap ($1,600), but when taking into consideration the fit/finish/quality/sound... it is worth the price IMO, especially when you look at the other offerings out there. I am really not into having some guy at the local muffler shop create a cheap mid-pipe solution for my 75k M3.

What seems nuts to me is spending 4k-5k on an aftermarket muffler that basically is rendered useless when in sport/sport plus mode...which I am ALWAYS in.

They are metal pipes with bends
If a competent exhaust shop has a mandrel bender, they could make an EXACT set of mid pipes for less than 1/4 of the price with clamps for a reversible fit and finish

So go buy them from a competent exhaust shop. I am not telling anyone to go by from SS.

Oh...by the way....I am using clamps as well...fully reversible.

Where can you find the mid-pipes available as a stand-alone purchase? I only see the rear section or full-exhaust options.

I just put on a Dinan exhaust. I will put up a video of that tomorrow. Sounds amazing with these pipes!
