You can get a module (Like BMS CanFLAP) to control your flaps, or unplug them in the open position and they will stay that way.

Drive around in sport+. Leave it in sport+ when you shut down the engine. Look in your tail pipes and if the flaps are open, then pull the plugs.

Simple 4 wire tap behind the lower kick panel/OBD2. Takes about 20 minutes to install.

Because it will register a soft code (no lamp, but will appear during diagnostic scan) when doing so.

Does soft code is important thing? Does it effect warranty?

That's a question for your dealer, its best to have no codes at all.

Do the BMS or MS valve control modules throw off codes? And any potential warranty implications?

No codes from the Macht Schnell EVC module.

As an added precaution, the Macht Schnell module goes into a special bypass/diagnostic mode when an OBD2 device is plugged in to prevent any issues, retaining the module while keeping it fully invisible.

No codes from the BMS module and no wire tapping with the BMS either. Its just a 2 second plug in to the OBD port.

Thanks Mike and Tom. I ended up ordering the BMS option yesterday but wanted to double-check. Figured I'd throw the MS question in as well as, undoubtedly, someone else was likely to ask.
