Amp connection question

Installing my JL audio and I'm wondering where is the best place to connect the power cable on the battery. Most of the terminals directly on the battery have covers with caps. Here is where I have it connect now.

I have my amps connected to the terminal on the right side of the battery well, where the thicker of the two red wires bolts down. I have a 500/1 and 600/6 connected to the same terminal and have experience zero issues. If you pull off the trunk liner on the passenger side, you will find a terminal block where the ground for the battery connects. I use that to ground both amps and get zero alternator noise.
