BMS stage 1 - is it always active?

As the title says. I just installed stage 1 and I'm getting ready to take her out and wanted to know if your supposed to toggle on/off anything or if it's always running the map 1.

Also, the open end on the "tuning box" - am I supposed to leave that exposed? Looks like a laptop might plug into it if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks guys!

You don't have to toggle anything or even cover that part; just make sure it's secure and you are ready to go!! Race Wars Time!

The stage1 is always on. The other end is for a USB cable which allows hookup to a laptop.
