GT-R auction.

The dealer that I leased my 350Z through is receiving 14 GT-R's. My former CA did not know over what time frame. The deal they are running, pulling, is a silent auction on each one. The minimum you can put on your entry that goes into a box is $5,000 over. He said under his breath, that the first one has a $15,000 high so far. I asked if the frenzy should calm after a few cars and he said probably so.

Would you pay $5,000 over if you could be assured that your bid would get the car? I see this car in my sleep.
1. White 2. Black 3. Silver- my personal paint choices.

The GM is calling me back to go over the specifics. He is supposed to have a list of all the cars, colors, options etc. They are training CA's and shop guys right now who only deal with the GT-R.

I'm very skeptical that they know they will be getting 14 cars as the agreement they have with NNA states that any certified dealer will get a minimum of 1 car in 18 months.

I agree. I asked how? He replied because of their "years in business and consistent high volume" they had 14 allotted.
I have known this guy for years and he has no real reason to BS me.
I guess I will know when the GM calls, if he does that is.

Dealerships are such douchebags. They should HAVE to sell cars at MSRP IMO.....

For a limited production car that will not lose value as soon as you drive it off the lot... I would pay 5K over.

Hell, they are charging 5-10K over sticker for 2008 Shelby GT 500 Mustangs and they are selling still...

If it is true....
I could consider flipping that baby to a very determined "I WANT A GT-R NOW" kind of guy/girl.

Gas prices???

There are about 7 M5's at the store up the street.
5 M6's. I think they will take anything right now that leaves a margin of some sort. 10 MPG and me would not get along. I only get 15.7 in my lil' 335. That means I would get single digit in those bad boys. Yes, I am a bit cheap when it comes to filling up twice a week with premium.

The GT-R is supposed to get 16...... ..what justification!

I would pay up to $10k over sticker for a second year car as long as I can get black.
Anything over that amount, I would much rather have a 1 year old 997.

that would be pretty awkward when the GM gets down on his knees and does it.

if this is true then by all means jump on this deal. im just saying this because all the rumors of the gtr being sold for 100k and+ might be true if you take in all the facts and considerations.

^ Now I am being told they are getting 2 cars and the minimum is 20K over to even be considered.
They can shove it!
