Audi Animosity towards 335

I'm a former B6 A4 and B6 S4 driver and recently moved over to a 335 coupe so I still frequent the Audi message boards. It's funny how there's so much hating going on over there. Meanwhile the stereotype is that BMW drivers are the A-Holes. Since I've started reading/posting on E90post, I've seen you guys give Audi so much praise.. especially the S5. Am I missing something here?!

I always give credit where it's due... I think I finally understand the true meaning of fanboyism.. although I hate the term..

Also, notice the post about a B6 S4 walking 3 or 4 different 335s.. stock even.. not really sure how that's possible coming from an S4.. lol

Hope this isn't in the wrong forum.. my apologies if it is.. Just wanted to share my thoughts with you all I guess all you can really do is sit back and laugh

Most BMW drivers are A-holes. We think we have neater cars than we really do.

Agreed. I bet when the new S4 comes out we'll be doing the same thing. I've been looking at other boards, and it seems like there's a lot of hate concentrated against the 335i, especially on Infiniti boards. They listed the usual: snobby drivers, overpriced, ugly, etc., and I honestly think it's because they have to prove something. At the moment, we really don't have anything to prove. Right now the 3 is at the top of its class (when we're talking strictly performance). However, give it a few years...maybe it won't be at the top of its game, then watch these boards.

Most people here seem subjective when reviewing other makes, myself included. There's no reason to be a brand loyalist (my name makes me look like a hypocrite ). Just enjoy the car you like and everything'll be all right.

Like you said it, fanboyism is at play here. It'd be a great world if a car can be seen for what it is, and not what badge it's wearing. But of course, there would be no drama.
