Just picked up an 09 135i, Radio lcd is barely working.

I've read that these radios have had tons of issues with their screens etc. My question is, can I buy a replacement off of Ebay and just swap in a new one or will their be coding issues?

Mine did the same thing. Luckily I got it replaced under warranty. Im sure there would be some coding issues although Im not absolutely sure.
