Best Place to Install Amp in E82 (Avoid Whine/Interference)

It seems the most common place to install an amp is the tray under the trunk, next to the battery? Is this safe from any interference or whine? Are there any other stealth locations one should consider?

I was thinking perhaps left side of trunk in between tail light and wheel arch. I have the Logic-7 system FWIW.

Hifi OEM location is the left side between the light and arch (at least on my e88, the 82 should be identical).

My XD600/6 is where the OEM lived. Took out the OEM + its mounting HW and velcroed it to the floor underneath. Originally had power running from there to the tray next to the battery via a handy little path built into the plastic liner where the trunk mechanism is. The Ground is an oem ground location on the wheel well underneath the trunk liner IIRC.

While the XD600/6 does fit... its snug. Assuming the e82 is identical to the e88... I would not go much larger size wise.

Thanks thing is I'm not replacing the stock amp, just adding a small aftermarket one to power the under seat woofers.

The L7 amp is in a different location than the Hifi OEM, so both fit at the same time. L7 should be near the B pillar drivers side.

Just because I'm curious, how are you planning on getting the new amp's inputs?

Using Technic's harness

I just looked, and I apparently never took a picture of the oem location. Closest I have is my xd600/6 with harness waiting to be installed sitting on my desk.
