ipod integration

Can anyone tell me if I can get my CIC Nav. to display itunes album covers. Right now it just shows a square blank. I have a 2013 135i / Multimedia version MX-003.004.031. Is there an update??

If it's showing blank album art then its because your music on your iPod doesn't have album art.

You need to go back to iTunes on your PC/Mac and add the album art to the songs in your iTunes library. Then re-sync them to your iPod.

Already have album covers downloaded on my ipod / iphone but no sync.
Good news though I found out from another source to download the itunes music files stored my computer to a usb flash drive and that has solved the problem.
Interesting hey.

Not sure how this solved your issue. I have the same "issue". Can you elaborate?

From your laptop or desktop computer Mac or PC mine is a mac. type in the search (music). Click on the music folder and you should see all your music files. Copy and paste to a USB flash drive. Some call it a jumpdrive.
Note: I assume you buy your music from itunes or other pay website otherwise I think you will still have a blank pic on your screen. BTW I downloaded the latest free update for the connect drive from the BMW website.

Ok, I think I understand now. You have switched media, you are now using a USB drive (high capacity, I assume) INSTEAD of your iPod to "solve your issue", right?
