Comparo......1M vs E9XM3 vs F8X M3

Haven't seen this posted, and it's a great read.

This was bound to happen, a comparison of these three exceptional cars and how they differ or relate in terms of everything from performance to feel.

Confirms, to me at least, that the 1M truly is as many have said before, the result of being conceived and developed by enthusiasts, without all the surrounding and distracting noise.

Great review and exactly how i felt after driving the m4 this past Thursday.
It's a great car, and hard to find fault with it. But the fact of the matter is i have yet to drive another BMW that is as fun, and has as much attitude and twitchyness as my 1m.

wow. fantastic comparison.....the 1M is definitely a classic. I'll take steering and handling any day over technology and hp numbers!!!!

This is me saying (a few drinks into my night) that it boils down to one simple metric. Is the car fun?
Put aside the technical talk and borderine apologies for a large (but apparently capable car) and the answer is the same.
The 1M is where you go when you want to drive fast and smile.

1M is fast, exciting and fun. 1M isn't flawless, on the contrary, we know that, but THAT also makes it part of the character 1M has.

Anyway: Looking back in carhistory, many legendary cars never were totally flawless to begin with.
