Thanks for all the suggestions.
Sorry I haven't been as responsive. I'm in the midst of moving hence why I'm getting a new TV as the one I had in the living room was an old Visio that I hated. I don't get internet or cable until Tuesday so I haven't really been around to reply. So to answer the biggest question: I never tried it lol but I think it would've fit. After reading this thread I just called my buddy who has an F10 550i and we put it back there, fit just fine with the seats down. If it did fit in the F30, it would've barely fit. As for why I decided to buy a curved 55" HDTV, while I agree with the general sentiment here, I just love the way they look. And with the way my new living room is laid out, I've read in my research that curved TV's give you a wider effective viewing angle which is just what I'm looking for in my new place. Plus curved TV's aren't nearly as expensive as they used to be, only a couple hundred or so more expensive than a comparable flat screen TV. |

Yup, a Samsung 55" 4K TV (UN55JU6700). I've owned another Samsung HDTV for my bedroom for a few years and it's been flawless. The Vizio I had in the living room I've owned for less than 2 years and already it turns off on it's own and the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired so I'm pretty stoked about using the 4K.

If you want the best picture quality Samsung or LG bring to market, it is going to be a curved display. Both of those companies reserve their best technology for their curved displays.

It would have fit. I got a 55" UHD Samsung recently and I had it delivered because I was not sure. But then after I set it up I threw the box in my car and it fit fine.
I also opted not to get curved. Hell I was close to getting a Sony, but i passed on that because it was 3D and the extra cost for that to me is a waste. AND I have a few 3D blu-rays because my last TV was 3D, but I just don't care. |

If you have fold down seat then shouldn't be a problem. My old e90 with rear seat down can fit my 55 sony tv no problem. And room to spare. I assume up 60 or 65 max

Mine fit in the 435. I also bought the 55" curved Samsung. Just fold the seats down and load it thru the trunk.
