A Grand Slam costs about $7? I'd rather just pay for it than deal with the crowd.

You must have not been here in a long time. The closest ones are in Panama City and Madison. You might be thinking of Village Inn.

You can even check the locator: http://www.dennys.com/en/cms/Restaurant+Locator/43.html

There are no more Dunkin Doughnuts either...

Both of those were there when I was a freshman (98) and closed during my 7 years in Tally. Good memories at both, although the one on the parkway was usually a little too ghetto for me.

i drove by the denny's near my house, was planning on stopping for some freebies, but i found a crowd or people milling around out front waiting for an available table. i've never seen more than 3 or 4 cars there at a time except for after 2am when the bars close.

Not to be hateful but looking at the girths in that pic I would suggest a Grand Slam rice cake.

Yeah, just got back from running to the bank... passed by Denny's on the way. Line of maybe 30 people out the door. Never seen so many fat people and college kids.

Drove by Denny's on the way to work and there was a line of 30+ for a $3.00 plate of food I think time is money and they probably wasted a lot more money standing in line.

I drove by one this morning, and there had to be 100 people in line. Seriously? For a $4 breakfast?
