Yup. I checked mine once this year and I was pleased with what I saw.

I am calling BS. If you are 16 there is no way you could have a credit score now days because you have to be 18 to have a cc, loan, etc. in your name.

Ack, screw them, they try to enroll you in some credit protection monthly service that ends up costing you money. (I know from being suckered into it myself, live and learn I guess). A couple of years ago they even lost a class action lawsuit because of it. I was happy to get a free extra credit report from it though. Use www.annualcreditreport.com, That's the one that you are entitled to use to check once a year for free. -BMW2006 |

I think you may need to get someone to cosign your lease.
Depending on the landlord/owner, they may require a parent to co-sign a lease. This basically ensures that they can get their rent if you fail to make payment. Many places require this if you are seeking to rent and are under the age of 25. Good luck. In reading some of the posts, I don't think you'll have a problem with your credit score.

My credit was horrible i would say but i am making good money, so they usually just ask for a deposit. Most rent places have compensating factors....poor credit, but great income= approved...depends..
