ISTA+ connection issue with E61 – Which cable and configuration?

I have ISTA+ installed on my PC, and it works perfectly with my 2017 BMW 118d F20 using an OBD2 to Ethernet cable. However, when I try to connect to a 2005 BMW 530i E61, I can't establish any communication.

After running several tests, I noticed that on my F20, ISTA+ detects an assigned IP address, but on the E61, nothing appears.

Based on my research with ChatGPT, it seems that the E61 does not use ENET but instead requires a K+DCAN to USB cable. ISTA+ doesn’t explicitly offer K+DCAN as an option, but I do see "Ediabas default settings (ediabas.ini)". My current EDIABAS.ini file has a lot of default configurations, including "Network Protocol = TCP", and I’m wondering if I need to modify it for the connection to work.

I’d like to confirm two things:

1- Which cable should I order to make it work with ISTA+ on an E61? If I understand correctly, I need a K+DCAN to USB cable.
2- What EDIABAS.ini file should I use? If possible, I’d appreciate a full working file for ISTA+ with a K+DCAN cable.

Thanks in advance for your help!
