Hello everyone,
I am joining you from Turkey. My vehicle is 2007 Model LCI m47 163'lı 5.20d I want to explain the issue to you as follows; I bought the 64 color 120 mode ambient lighting attached to my vehicle. I did not reconnect the doors because this product consists of 4 auxiliary brains and 1 main brain. I got the electricity from its own ambient lighting for the installation on the doors. I used both the main brain for the front fascia and got the electricity from the cigarette lighter. I did not get it from the parking key. Now what I really want to ask is this: Everything works fine. Since I got the electricity for the front fascia from the cigarette lighter, it works without any problems, but the ambient lights on the doors turn off in 10-15 seconds when I turn on the park lights. When I turn off the vehicle, start it again and turn on the park lights, the same problem occurs again. I think it cuts off the electricity. To try this, I cut the power to the main brain for a while and turned the parking light back on. Then it worked. When these auxiliary brains are activated, the vehicle cuts the power. What is the solution? The ambiance suits these vehicles very well. Can you please help? |

try Provide a Stable Power Source for Door Lights Instead of using the existing ambient lighting power, try connecting the door lights to a more stable 12V source, such as: Fuse box (use an add-a-fuse tap) Directly from the battery (via a relay to prevent battery drain)
If you use the fuse box, find a fuse that has power when the car is running, but stays on when parking lights are enabled. A bad ground could cause power loss when additional vehicle electronics (like parking lights) are turned on. Use a Capacitor or Relay A small capacitor on the power line might help prevent voltage drops. Alternatively, install a relay that triggers power from a stable source when the car is on. Power the Main Brain from a More Stable Source Instead of the cigarette lighter, try: An ignition-switched fuse (so it turns on only when the car is running). The same power source as the doors, so both systems behave the same way. |
