My buddy has a G80, you're right - she's a big girl.
I drove the car in 2003 so there weren’t many cars with 400 hp back then. I bet it would feel slow if I drove it now. It definitely pulled harder than my 333 hp e46 M3. I don’t recall how the steering felt so it must’ve been ok. It was a solid M car for its time. I understand preferring the e60 M5 over the e39. I wouldn’t swap either of my two e92 M3s or my f82 for an e39. Although, it’s still a great M car.

Nope, I wouldn't swap your E92 out either. Hold on to it, it's a future classic. Nice collection you have there.

Thanks! I wanted to keep one of each generation M3/4 as an original owner but I couldn’t afford the e30 while I was in grad school, got rid of the e36 because it didn’t have a true S engine, and no matter how hard I try I just can’t get over the looks of the g82.

I’m the original owner (well, technically one of them belongs to my wife ) of both e92 M3s and they both have low mileage so it would be impossible to find another e92 M3 in the condition of either of our cars. The ‘09 is AW and when I let my wife pick the color of the ‘12, she had to pick MW! At least MW is a metallic paint and looks like different shades of light gray in certain lighting but we still get “why did you buy two cars with the same exterior color?”
