That's insane. I was hoping this option would find itself back on the baseline X3, but looks like I will need to look at options beyond BMW at this point.

It's gotten so bad I'm thinking I need to retire from selling BMWs after 45-years. There's nothing we can do about it and BMW isn't forthcoming with any answers we can give our prospective customers. I'll just let them all buy Subarus. I don't even use standard cruise control in any of my BMWs, but I can understand a customer wanting what they want—especially when it is standard or available on far lesser cars. BMW should just quit trying until they can get it right. Poor planning with suppliers? My entire new-car stock right now is two X7s. It's embarrassing.

Honestly, BMW's lack of certain options on incredibly expensive cars is completely baffling. Moreso than any other manufacturer. For example, you can't get ventilated seats as an option on any 3-series other than the M3. Want cooled seats with your $70K M340i? Too bad, so sad. Yet ventilated seats ARE an option on the 4-series like an M440i. There are <$30K non-luxury cars that have ventilated seats as an option.

When do we get the pricing/options sheet for the i4?

That threw me for a loop too. I can get ventilated seats in a Kia, but not on a 70k M340. Any little bit of airflow helps especially being in Texas.

Ultimately, I'm waiting on an M3Cx, but I looked pretty hard at the M340 a year and a half ago, and between the Vernasca leather, and no ventilated seats, disqualified the car.

With regards to this Order Guide, X3 (G01), Page 97, can anyone clarify what is the difference between “X3 xDrive30i and X3 xDrive30i SA”? Please and thank you in advance.

Still no Active Cruise Control (5DF) on 2023 G42?! They dropped it for MY22 I assume due to chip shortage but would have expected it included for MY23. Such an important and convenient safety feature which I use a lot on our '18 X3 and definitely miss on the '22 M240i. Works especially well in slow moving traffic - I firmly believe ACC is a must safety/drivers aid in any car these days and most certainly a premium BMW.
