residential concrete floors

anyone have exposed concrete floors in their home (apartment) ?

did you pull up carpeting thinking you'd polish or seal the concrete floor and things ( maybe water stains or holes ) made the job difficult and way out of budget ?

It's more difficult than you think to get a perfect concrete floor from a brand new pour let alone existing construction. In a past life I've done commercial and residential polishing as a job.
