I confess that I never got the concept of a beater. I was obsessive about keeping my '92 Civic DX with 130k miles ding, scratch and stain free.

My car is so dirty, I'm embarrassed. I haven't had time to go to the hand wash place on the weekends. I won't go to the automatic car wash which is actually convenient and close to work. My only salvation is I have DG and not BSM this time around so it doesn't look as bad as it is.
