LED Shower Head

Found out they have such a thing yesterday. Its powered by a turbine that spins and produces the wattage necessary to power the diodes.

I ordered one from amazon Wife thinks i'm crazy. Its supposed to be blue when the water is cold then purple for medium, red for hot, and flashing read for if the water is so hot it will burn you.

I think this is a youtube video of the product.

That's pretty cool! No reviews, but at around $30, it's worth giving a shot!

Lol, I used to wonder the same thing.

I remember, my first girlfriend used to wash the dishes with water so hot I couldn't keep my hand there for more than a couple seconds.

So me being the macho man type, I would try to build up a tolerance to the same temperature of water she would use when I would wash the dishes.
....I failed, lol

I have one of these units in my bathroom. Everyone thinks it's awesome and that it must've cost thousands. I love the variety of options.

The hum it makes would really annoy me. The whole thing looks cheap.

This is true. It also has a whirlpool tub. Sucks that 99.9% of the time I just use the regular shower.

I should note that mine doesn't have any sort of LEDs. Just a back-lit temperature display on the front.

I always wondered where the batteries went on the light-up faucets. If it's built-in, I might reconsider a new sink faucet.
