I'm glad you found that on youtube. They are all truly amazing drummers.

I used those three guys as inspiration back when I was learning the instrument. I used to spend hours each day practicing to Vinnie Colaiuta and Dave Weckl.

I'll never forget getting into an argument in high school with a fellow drummer on who was better, Lars Ulrich or Vinnie Colaiuta. Lars is good, but Vinnie is on a totally different level. I was trying to explain that the drum parts to Metallica's songs weren't all that difficult. To prove my point, I then proceeded to play Metallica's "One" on a single pedal drumset.

Whoever said Neil Pert wins. I'm not a big Rush fan, almost dislike them really (yes, I know) but he can't be denied. I can't believe Lars Ulrich is even seriously being mentioned with the others in this thread. I love old school Metallica, but come on...
