Just ruined somebody's 08' C350 test drive!

I was doing some spirited driving today in the morning, and noticed this brand new C350 sport doing a test drive in the freeway, I noticed it was a test drive because the car had the factory info sheet still on the window and a guy having fun next to a CA. So i go behind them he starts to hit the gas and I decide to help him make up his mind about buying the car or not. I set myself right in front of them and saw the CA saying to the guy go for it... I feel bad for that CA, I assume he'll have a hard time explaining what happened to the guy whe he had to see me getting away... I hope I helped a potential buyer not make a mistake though...So I felt good after anyways..Specially because that dealership is just a block away from my BMW dealership...Just thought I'd share how good of a person I am.:rocks:

Ha ha....that was your good deed for the day! You know what would be really funny is if the guy actually went to the BMW dealership next to look at a 335.

I went to a Mercedes drive event yesterday and test drove the C350. Let me just say that I am so... glad that I went with the 335i. The only 1 thing I like about the C350 that is better than the Bimmers is that you can play DVD while the car is in park. Wished BMW would do that too. I know that you can install a Nav-2-go and get the same results, but it would be better straight from the factory.

Now, I know why the BMW is a drivers car. When I got back into my 335i I was . I will never get the C350.

Poor guy. He may have been so proud that he worked so hard being able to finally afford a Mercedes(not that he would be able to afford the 3 series as well) and you just crushed him haha. Some people just place Merc higher on the pole then BMW, he'll have to rethink his stance now.

Not as poor as if he bought the MB and have the 335i leave him eating dust afterwards.

Our OP just did his good deed of the day.

C class drivers could care less about fast cars or twin turbos. They are 2 different animals and an MB dealer will tell you that a MB doesnt equal the driving exp of a BMW but will blow it away in the looks dept. I bet it was some guy who could care less about HP numbers or how fast a car can "smoke off the line".

I have to agree, seems the majority of C-Class buyers are women and badge whores. Not trying to generalize but seems like most that buy the C-class are not concerned with performance but with the fact they can say they drive a Mercedes.

It seems the general concensus with the average Joe is that Mercedes is about performance as much as BMW (obviously not true unless ..AMG), maybe because it costs more people think it is better in all aspects. Thats fine with me because there are enough badge whores jumping on BMW

I would take a CLK550 over a 335i any day, aside form the difference in price.

No way. If i'm going to get a midsize coupe that favors comfort over speed, you'll catch me in an S5 50 times before you catch me in a CLK. With the exception of the new C, none of benz's lower end cars have ever interested me
