Zeitgeist: The Movie - explains the fraud of Christianity, 9/11, and the US Federal Reserve, and how each are used as tools for social control.

Good flicks. I think if you're limited on time, you should watch the second. It more or less explains how money is created. Scary stuff. Ron Paul subscribes to this belief

REPOST and FYI, 9/11 wasn't made up. I saw that movie a while back but I lived in DC at the time and my dad was stationed at the Pentagon - watched the plane hit. Bunch of conspiracy bs (kind of like religion IMO)

I won't restate my arguments here, because I just won't waste any more time on it. This is our generations great conspiracy theory. If you want to waste the time, please entertain the idea that the people who propagate these myths are the ones who directly benefit from them spreading, and they just may have an agenda of their own.

Watch it, evaluate the arguments, and draw your own conclusions, but I'm begging you to take it with a (large) grain of salt.

thats great, but this isnt m3post. i imagine these videos have been posted on other boards before. maybe i should search the tens of thousands of various other boards that exist before i post anything.

Search function must be broken. Search for 'zeitgeist' yourself. You get 1 completely irrelevant thread, as shown in post #3.

Yeah, but that "documentery" claims that a plane never hit the Pentagon. Tell that to my dad and the friends/co-workers he lost that day.

The video does not claim that no one was lost on 9/11, but questions the official story that it was a plane that hit the Pentagon. People dying in the pentagon does =! a plane hit the building.

I don't agree with some religions' ideas but I respect everyone's beliefs. I'll even respect your belief in this theory. Heck, whatever floats your boat man. More power to you.

Nowhere have I said that I subscribe to the theories mentioned in the videos. I find the videos incredibly intriguing, and believe reality may not necessarily be how we perceive it, but I have yet to jump head first into any such theory. I posted them mainly for discussion, but I do believe they are leaning in the right direction.

Although I, as an intelligent person capable of critical thinking, do find organized religion to be insultingly dishonest, and believe the owners of this country and others have goals that are in complete contradiction to the goals of society as a whole. That does not mean that these videos explain the world's mis-truths.

And as for the claim that 'they dont need religion to control us.' - thats exactly what religion is. It may not have hold the weight it did in earlier times, but I believe that serves as one of its functions today.

Besides, I'll give you just ONE example that religion isn't so organized as you think it is. Islam. A few months ago, Gaza got completely SHITTED on, I didn't see any foreign Muslims travel to Gaza and help out their so-called brothers. On the contrary, Egypt (A so-called Muslim country) doesn't allow humanitarian aid to even enter (even after the war).
