Car goes side to side at highway speed

My 2010 528i wanders side to side over 65mph. Dealer checked everything, even east coast BMW engineer drove it, they just changed to different run flats (Bridgestone) no difference. They say that is how the car drives and everything is to spec. Car goes straight with no hands on wheel but feels like wind is hitting it from right and left and the car wanders!!! Did anyone have this and change to Non run flats????

your tires are probably following the grooves in the road..the runflats on my 335 did that...i ditched them.

try to go on a flat highway surface and see if the problem continues.
or ditch the runflats

I drove on perfectly flat new roads. It happens from 65 and up. I have run flats on my 2009 corvette and they are perfect. Do you know of anyone with this problem that changed to regular tires???

I had this problem on a 2010 528i. After making sure the tire pressure was correct all around, it went away.

i dont think tire pressure is the issue here

In my experience, it could be tire pressure. When the tire pressure is too low on my run flats, I get all kinds of strange handling issues including the issue the OP reported. It only takes a small change in pressure to have the handling go bad in my car. When I first picked up my car from the dealer, the tire pressures were way low.

OP post your alignment #'s. If the tires aren't tracking straight, any type of change in surface, wind, etc... will shift around the car if the alignment is bad.
