Mlandingin177 build (flame suit on)
Hi everyone,
I have recently joined E90Post and would like to introduce myself. In March I ended up picking up an E92 335I. With all the fun I have with this car I thought it would be nice to share my current build with everyone (even though it may not be as awesome as some of you guys on here) A little history about me... I have had a few cars in the past coming from the modified Honda scene in the late 90's. I purschased my first BMW in 2001 it was E46 330I and I fell in love with BMW ever since. After the E46 I had a few other cars (Mercedes, Mini, Porsche) but none of them had that same feel as BMW. Here is a pic of when of the first day i got the 335 (I apologize if the pics are small. I'm still trying to learn how to post pics) when I got home It took me a while to decide if I wanted to Mod the car (since I have another project in the works). So I decided to just lower the car in the meantime. 2 week after purchasing I had the car lowered on coilovers Shortly after decided I should get some wheels. I ended up finding a deal on some HRE 540 (they need a little TLC). I would post pics of the process but that an entire thread on its own. So here are the pics of the wheels after a new coat and polish. I then decided i wanted to upgrade the body styling a little. I was back and forth with mtech or M3 styling it was so hard to choose since they have so many aftermarket mods to choose from. I decided to go M3 (FLAME SUIT ON) So I went and order M3 rep hood, fenders, front bumper, side skirts, side mirrors, and rear bumper. I started with the hood shortly after i dropped off the car to the shop to have the rest of the parts installed. They first put on the side skirts, fenders, and front bumper Then they put on the rear. The shop had to cut off the muffler in order to properly fit the rear bumper. Mirrors installed and fully functioning I then brought the car to the muffler shop and fitted some mufflers the had with quad tips.(changed shortly after to OEM since it was too loud) Heres a pic of the car when i brought it home.(disregard the messy garage) I then decided to test fit the rims. im 50/50 on the wheels decided not to use them at the moment. (Rims are for sale if anyone is interested please PM me) Shortly after getting the car home from the shop I decided to dress up the interior. Heres a pic of the interior when i got the car. I first purchased all weather floor mats since my currents mats were worn. Then I picked up a BMW Performance Electronic Steering Wheel V1 w/ silver trim. I recently bought red interior that i need to install when i get a chance Also installed: ER charge pipe w/ HKS BOV AFE intake I recently just purchased a Stealth Exclusive (thanks Ken) Parts I still need to install: -Performance Spoiler (High Kick) -Performance shit knob and suede shift boot -Performance e-brake and boot -Kersher style lip (back up) Future mods: -Black out window trim -gloss black grill (maybe) -Down Pipes -Tune -Side skirt splitters -Rear diffuser Thats it for now. I will keep everyone posted on the progress. Thanks Last edited by mlandingin177; 06-17-2014 at 06:05 PM.. |

The company that had the interior is Part Link Enterprises
http://www.partslinkent.com/ They just so happen to have been selling the entire interior on ebay and I was able negotiate a price. |

Yeah to modify your car. Looks really good. Now it's modified 335, not stock M3. So in my opinion it's more fun that way, besides M3 cost a lot more than 335 at least here. You need some concave wheels with that like this way http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=437, and since you have wide fenders you can use wider tyres, get more aggressive wheel specs or find concave wheels with lip.
