e90 perfomance difuser install parts

hello so i recently got a msport rear bumper without the stock diffuser and am about to fit a performance diffuser with it. so far ive obtained the msport bumper guides. my question is do i need the plastic piece in the center to be able to do the install or does it come with the diffuser?

doesnt come with the diffuser unless you order both bumper and diffuser together from the dealer. The part is only about $50. You also have to cuz your bumper for the performance diffuser to fit correctly.

In all honestly you don't really need it or the little 2 side ones you can get away without it. I just had mine installed not to long ago and since i painted it gloss black you couldn't really see the holes but to get it looking stock its recommend.

I actually bought all the pieces. But i notice that well installing, I have seen others without just have to look around for it.

If you will buy the diffuser kit, it will cost you almost double the price of just the diffuser itself. You can just DIY the covers by using this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/ROPPE-Bla...3?N=5yc1vZbodt

This is what I used with my previous single sided performance diffuser. I have yet to do this with my new dual performance diffuser. Right now, the holes doesn't bother me that much because it's so small to notice.
