Just sold my cla45 amg looking into getting a m235i

Hi guys, I had manual a 135i before I got the cla45, the cla45 is a awesome car in most areas, but the dct drives me nuts, when you get off the line in a traffic light there is a delay before the car take, even a Rav 4 can beat me to 0-15km, I'm not sure if it's because of the turbo lag or how the dct transmission works, but once it past the 15km it flys.

I'm thinking of getting an auto m235i, is the BM auto bit more responsive of the line?

I when to the dealer the other day I got quote $103,000 for an option up one. I was surprise how expensive it was, $7k more than what I pay for my cla45. How much are you guys paying for your m235i?

hey mate, I recently got my auto M235i in QLD. very very very good car. test drove A45 a lot and agree with the DCT. the auto in my car is 8speed ZF gearbox... silky smooth. test drive a M135i, 435 and of course M235i if you can.
price wise: i paid $90K for mine - optioned with 3 way protection package ($1500) and Comfort package $2400. dealer delivery is way too expensive - you shouldn't pay more than $1700
I got free servicing for 5 years as well as part of the organization im with - ask for it.. u never know!
good luck

Ahh nice they look great in blue!

Yeah sure no worries, I was actually going to organise a bit of a drive day out the back of broke, part of the putty rd etc with a few guys (it's a mixed bunch generally E92 M3, 2011 STI, 2013 SRT8 Jeep!, 2014 Ford GT, and old Porsche 914 etc) if you're interested.

Otherwise the two of us can grab a beer somewhere and go for a blap

used to have Audi A5 3.0 Tdi , quick for a diesel , with chip tuning was close to 5 sec-100 but DCT rough hated it and the turbo lag oh my god terrible , thirsty diesel around 14l/100 my X5 30d uses around 11 .My first and last Audi ever .Understand your comments about A45 lag and DCT .M235i gearbox is a gem ...

interesting , how did you end up with 81K ? base list price is 79k plus around 10k or road plus options , expensive options so most M235i I know end up around 100k

Good negotiation? The car was quoted at 100k+ but the m235i aren't a high in demand car. It was a long process but go there in the end
