November Finance Rate Question

The November Rates of 4.9% for 335s says that orders must be placed by 11/31 and pickup must occur by 12/31. Is that even possible? I'm thinking of ordering the week of 11/26, but would like to lock the 4.9%.

Thoughts?

I placed my order before november (oct 27), but my CA said I could get the 4.99% interest rate. I'll be taking delivery before dec 31

My SA said that as long as you put in the credit application before that date, you are locked into the 4.9% rate for two months. Within the two months you have to purchase the car otherwise you lose that rate. If a better rate comes along within the two months, you get the better rate.

I had the same concern given the the thirty day requirement. CA and finance guy at the dealer ship said the rate was locked and there isn't an issue. My deposit is in and the car went into production last week ... can't wait for it to arrive.

That's what I heard, but was told it was valid for 90 days. Never heard you have to pick up by 12/31. Why does that matter unless it has to do with the dealer making their #'s by end of the year.

Yeah you're probably right. I might have heard wrong. Do you know whether or not the credit application filed with the dealership locks you into that specific dealership? Can you go to another dealership and say that you have the 4.9% locked in but you filed with another dealer?

Hope that made sense...

That's a good question. I would assume once locked, your locked with bmwfs, not with the dealer. You should call bmwfs to make sure.

Same here! I placed my order on Nov 5th and I just called my CA and he told me I was automatically submitted for the 4.9%!
