Looking for shop to install DP's
I got a set of DP's and I'm looking to get them installed somewhere. I called Lou's right down the street and they said "We don't do that kinda work here".
So I'm looking for recommendations in the Boston/North of Boston/ Southern NH area. |

Theres a place around Norwood which did my friends 335i. The guy specializes in custom exhausts and did great work for my friend from what he said. Ill talk to him for details.

I'm interested in the Norwood area place as well.
Lou's only puts Thrush mufflers on F150s. |

I used to have all my exhaust work done at Lou's. They had a shop down in Lawrence. They worked on my turbo Audi, custom work, stayed open after hours for me, custom bends, replacement pieces, etc. They were awesome! I called the Waltham store and got that answer. I'm really surprised at that answer.

My friends just opened a shop in quincy ma. One was a master tech at audi for 6 years and the other was a lexus master tech for 5 years. I go to him for all my work oem or aftermarket when he worked at audi. He always done a good job on my car. Pm if you want any info on his shop.

Watch this and decide for yourself. I'm pretty confident in my mechanical abilities and tools, but this looks a little bit out of my comfort zone. I think a lift would make all the difference if you have access to one.

Its an I not xi and I dont have access to a lift. I just got back from a shop not too far away and they told me if I get the turbo collars, they could do it next week, no problem. Hopefully I found a good shop. Down Shift, I don't see a PM from you.

Boston Motor Werks in Belmont.
He won't be the cheapest, but his work product is excellent. He's a former tech, that now runs a BMW only shop. Highly recommended for work done properly, and he's tuner friendly, assuming you're not too far down the rabbit hole... |

[QUOTE=islandroad83;15282291]This, not hard at all and u def don't need a lift. DP install is a common and easy DIY and u get to learn about your car.[/QUOTE
When I was bringing it in, I was feeling a little guilty because I usually like to tackle these jobs myself. The shop I had it done at, had a real bitch of a time getting the old turbo collars off. Plus it has been FREEZING out. I have a heater in my garage but the concrete floor never gets warm and I just could not wait until the spring to do it! So I'm glad I paid someone to do it this time. Maybe if I need to switch them back (and it's warm out) I'll try it myself. |
