Guess what I've just seen...

Photo's to come as soon as they've sync'd from my iPhone.

The individual leather, black with cashmere trim looks AWESOME and the CF interior trim looks AWESOME.

I'm now in an AW 328i for a couple of days...

The guys were telling me they nearly died when they first saw the interior, as it appeared to have grey seats. Turned out it was special, seat hugging grey protector covers instead of normal see thru plastic.

I am very, very happy with how it looks. Extremely. Thanks for all the guidance, guys. The CF looks to be a perfect match too.

Simon, glad the worst case fears were all for nothing. Without any info, one never knows and human nature tends to bring out worst case scenarios.

EB is the best F30 car colour. I do like the white stitching on the seats & console. My car doesn't have it. Not trying to be negative, but I fear they will discolour with use, so be vigilant and have the seats protected and regularly clean them.

In fact, have the car protected with a sealant of choice. Makes washing the car a breeze. Also makes me smile after rain, where the small water beads on the hood, clump together and fall off so very easily when driving off, due to the hydrophobic nature of the sealant (My car has Hard Body).

Is that a floor mat or protector the dealer was using during the cleaning process?

Hi David328-MSport, thanks. I am very happy. Re leather protection, good point. I'll consider and have a chat to my detailer.

I am having Opticoat applied on Thursday (the day after I collect).

The 'floor mat' was a temporary plastic mat to protect the area, I assume. I have MSport mats ready to replace the ones supplied.

I know. Needs to be licensed, cleaned etc. I was so tempted to take it as is though

I was offered a look, before it was ready, not often you get that. So, can't fault them at all. The 328i I have currently is a step up from the 318d, then it's my 335i in a few days.

If it's ready early, they've promised to let me know!

Garage List
Simon,

The whole package looks superb! But then it should, with that many options. :-)
I hadn't seen BMW seats with piping before - very nice.
I bet you can't wait to get in it and take it on the road.
Have fun. It's been a long wait for you, but I know you'll love it, especially that silky 6!!
