Hi guys, received my CF interior trim parts yesterday. I have a question regarding the auto gear shift trim.

In a vehicle with the gloss black finish, is the piece that's shown in the pics below, silver like that, or is it gloss black?

The CF kit doesn't include that trim piece, as I'd assumed it would, so am hoping I don't get stuck with that piece remaining in gloss black. I can live with it if it's silver.

If you're talking about the immediate gear lever surrounds, then yes that is silver- regardless of trim level

PS: A shame though, it'd look great in CF!

PPS: Makes the gear shift CF trim even more bloody expensive too, relatively.

The 4 series M Performance carbon trim has a carbon replacement piece for the gear shift surround. These are due out in January.

There is also some gloss carbon pieces on EBay if you are interested in a non OE solution.

I don't think gloss would fit in with the rather nice OEM matted stuff, but thanks.
