Thumbs down James@creativeautoworks

I ordered this M5 reps that from James on Oct 4th or 5th with Dunlop winter tires. On the phone, James said he can ship them out later the week. 2 weeks later, I chased him why my rims and tires not arrived yet. Then he told me the Dunlop tires are back order from Tirerack which I already know that before I order the rims from him. But I thought he got it in stock or he has his source. So, I called him and switched to Bridgestone beginning of last week becasue he said he can send them out end of the week. The whole week went by, no word from him. PM him and no reply and of course no one answer the phone as well. If I have a choice, I would love to cancel the order....this is not the way to do business. No protection as a customer. I hope we can create a system that can protect the vendor and customer.

Huh?

Cancel order and get you're money back. That'll be $250.

Soni, sorry to hear, bro. Call your CC company and tell them that you've attempted to cancel the order but to no avail.

Thumbs down

That guy james at creative autoworks is a simply a horrific nightmare to deal with, ....his customer service skills are crap at best,

...and the quality of the work being done there is so inconsistent that it is a BIG roll of the dice to entrust one's car to that chop shop, they might do a good job, ...or they might not

....this is based solely on my experience dealing with him,

...but I have heard similar stories posted on the internet, and heard horror stories from talking with other people at car shows,

...too bad for me I did not know all this before I became another victim of creative autoworks,

...the list of the most creative things at creative autoworks includes,

....the way james consistently avoids dealing properly with his PAYING customers,

....and james ultimately creates stories about shipping delays, unique problems he has never seen before,

.....if only james put half as much energy into dealing properly with customers and their cars (on both a customer service level and a mechanical level) as he does into not returning phone calls,

James gave me 100% top notch customer service. Replied quickly to PM's & was available on AIM most of the time to answer any questions.

I haven't installed my HID kit & am praying that it works. If not, then I'm sure James & his company will work something out. He's not gonna run away, he is in CALI, SOCAL peepz know him, he can be tracked.

I guess I am a lucky one?

around 1 month is the safe zone, any longer and the CC might not be able to charge it back.

Actually over at audizine, he is HORRIBLE with PAYING customers.

There are quite a few threads about his horrible customer service with the same problems.

I actually had my coilovers installed there when I had an Audi, and he quoted me a 2 hour job that turned into an 8 hour job. I drove from OC to SD to have them installed and was waiting doing nothing. A fraction of the day turned into a whole one.

I would never recommend creative autowerks to anybody.

The Audi community is actually trying to take him off as a vendor because they are so bad at dealing with anything!

Soni,

I believe we worked this out today, and my sincere apologizes, like you said, the bridgestones we're on national backorder. At the time of your order i did not know this. I had a few of my sources checking into the dunlops to find out that they we're in fact backordered.

As for the Bridgestones, we have those know, however I understand your situation of having to go out and pick up a set.

Like I said, I have something on its way to for you for patience.

James

Also for those who have tried to get a hold of over the past few days, they shop was closed, and most of the employees here were evacuated from our homes due to the wild fires here in san diego.

I feel for you dude, the wild fires in SOCAL really sucks.

But it doesn't give you the excuse for your past dealings. I was considering buying a few things from you since the CDN dollar is doing well, but after reading this post and the posts on audizine there is NO chance any of my cash is going your way.

And I hope you resolve your issue with Soni (will wait to see if he posts what you did for him).

Again, I hope you and your employee's are safe from the fires. But make sure you put out your business fires because if someone pays you, you are in debt to them until you deliver said goods or services.

i'd say dispute your charge with your CC company, i work for a bank and within 90days, there is no problem, just call, and it should be disputed, because there is what we call in the industry "zero card holder liability" and this situation will fall into you not receiving what your purchased

if you are one of our bank's clients, we would definitely dispute it for you, no questions asked
