I have a 2013 BMW x1 xdrive 35i with navigation and I wanted a back up camera.
I purchased the back up camera OEM kit from Bimmer Tech as listed above and installed it myself. The camera works through my navigation and it works great! My wife had an x3 with driver assist and back up camera and this camera works exactly the same but without the side pictures. I'm not a mechanic but am handy so I plunged in.
The installation went well with the wiring up to the dash as you can find photos of installations into other BMW models on you tube and they are similar. I had trouble removing the bottom plate under the radio but with help from Patryk we got everything done. The installation is probably easy for someone who is familiar with this sort of thing. I am very happy with the camera and I love the car!
I also got the sirius radio upgrade from bimmer-tech and it too works perfectly!

Could somebody show me where the RCA connector to the backup camera?
I would like to install by myself and need some instruction, I can't find any pics or video online for X1.

Thanks
