Hi all. I come here from the 1 series forum, a 2008 135 cabrio. http://www.pbase.com/naki_gaza/image/121080402
I have decided that it was time for a change.

Here is the timeline.
On Friday 25 Oct. I ordered a 435 coupe and paid the deposit, and the production order was entered.
Tuesday 29 Oct. I get a call from the sales manager informing me that the 435 was scheduled for production , and gave me the allocated VIN. When I asked when, all he would say was very soon. I, and he, had not been expecting it to be built until about the end of November.
Yesterday, 6 Nov. I entered the VIN into the BMW-archive site, to discover that it had been been produced on 4th of Nov. I also got an email from the sales manager last night saying that the car had gone to 70 status (= production complete).

Now all I have to hope for is that it will be on the next boat to NZ, which I believe is due to depart on 16 Nov, and arrive about Christmas time. Please Santa!

435 is black /coral red msport, HUD sun roof ...

Sounds like a good colour combo too. Post pics as soon as you can. Much quicker delivery than some of the people on this forum.

sounds great, agreed! I wasn't brave enough to get black paintwork, maybe it doesn't rain as much in NZ as here

My 435 is on the Tysla, on Sunday morning it passed through Miraflores locks of the Panama Canal, and out into the Pacific. So now it is next stop Auckland, scheduled to be 23 December.

It appears that there are 4 435s on board, mine and 3 to go onto Melbourne.
At the same time as the Tysla was loading in Bremmerhaven, 18/11/13, the Undine was also loading 9(?) on board, to go to Oz via South Africa.
