Just came across this morning from Gizmodo on 3M Paint Defender Spray. $45 USD for the kit!

Good inverstigating KT and thanks for the info but not for me. I like washing my car not really an issue for me.

i had my car opticoat and i wash my samurai every week. apparently the review on amazon isn't that NICE!

i think the reviews are missing the point. There is a high chance that i will not purchase this product but i can see that it can save me a lot of time cleaning bugs from long trips. I've been putting a layer of wax on the front before trips to make it easier to clean atm

Just like stone chip protection film, you never know how nasty it could do the clear coat/opticoat/paint layers. I like washing my car at the moment or so mad since I picked up my f31.

Not for me, but I can understand this product being used for the front end of the car on long journeys. However, as previously mentioned by others, I would also have reservations about using it on a car that had been Opticoated.

I got most of my cleaning products there. Order online pick up at five dock just off parramatta road before Burwood. So convenient.

I am using duragloss mostly for shampoo and aquawax. Stoner invisible glass cleaner is awesome.

Hang on. I think I should change the topic to AU car care products reviews/recommendations.
