Question Carbon Fibre Wrapping

Has anybody had any experience with 'Carbon Fibre Wrapping" for interior trim parts. I've seen a few pics on advertisers sites but would welcome any comments, critiques etc from personal experience. I would like to add some CF trim to my 328i Sport Line but the cost of trim parts from is BMW is outrageous. But I dont want to cheapen my interior if the ' CF wrapping' is not as advertised.

CF wrapping is fine. Take your time and think about the wrap before and as you are doing. Things to note: when 2 pieces are going to meet, try to make the lines on the CF design smooth and connect. When sticking the CF wrap, spray a bit of soapy water to make it easier to apply and use a squidgy to push the water out the sides. May need a bit of time to dry

Thanks- have looked up a few companies that do this professionally - all their pics look good - will definitely go this way. Do you know how heat resistant the wrap is? How does it react if parked in sun for a while?
