2013 535xi M-Sport suspension?

Can anyone tell me if the Canadian 3013 535xi M-Sport will have a different suspension from non-M-Sport models? Apparently in the US the M-Sports are delivered with an upgraded firmer 'sport' suspension (704), but I see NO mention of this being included in the Canadian M-Sport package. If not, does that mean that aside from the 'sport' transmission, the Canadian M-Sport pkg is purely cosmetic?

On the Xi's there's not any sport suspension unfortunately. It is cosmetic only...

Only option you have is ordering the DHP if you want the handling and adjustable suspension.

Now I'm wondering if I did the right thing ordering a 535xi with M-Sport. No upgraded suspension, and apparently a whole whack of problems with the 'upgraded' 19" runflats .........

Can any Toronto area owners testify to the durability (or lack thereof) of the 19" runflats on our GTA roads? Folks in the New York City and Boston area seem to have to replace these tires on a monthly basis due to the poor condition of their roads. I am hoping that is not the case here too, but I haven't heard too much feedback from Canadian M-Sport owners on this issue.

I hit one huge pot hole that ripped a 2 inch gash on the sidewall of the right front tire, other than that i have had no problems with the Goodyear RFTs. I do think you have to be cautious and beware of any larger than normal potholes in the GTA.

I did drive my friends BMW 550 xdrive with DHP and ARS and let me tell you night and day difference!! The handling and stability of the 550 with DHP ARS is FANTASTIC!

Just a side question, do you know if the GTA dealers offer some sort of "wheel and tires" coverage as warranty for the pothole cases? I'm totally with you on the GTA road conditions, some of these potholes are just ridiculous, make me wonder how city is spending our tax dollars...

Yes, BMW CA (not dealer) has a wheel and tire insurance that is offered. I believe I paid $1600 for 4 years. I was told the insurance cost was the equivalent to 4 RFT tire replacements. Covers wheel and tire damage. If I remember correctly, it also covers once a year repair on wheels for scratches/curb rash.

Thanks Donser, sounds like a good deal for the wheels.
