Extended connectivity setup help

Hi guys,

hoping someone can help.

for some reason my 328i which has extended connectivity has stopped playing music from my iphone through bluetooth?

car is only 2 weeks old when i first got it was working fine, but the other day i went for a long drive and connected the phone to the car with the white apple cable such that i could play music from my phone and charge it at the same time.

since then the extended connectivity hasn't worked.

the bluetooth for telephone calls is working fine.

the phone says that it is connected to the BMW
the car says that it is connected to my phone

when i clinic on media button this is what it looks like:

the white USB apple cable is not plugged in, but as u can see its not recognising my phone via bluetooth in media

any help would be appreciated

cheers

Garage List
Try breaking the pairing between your iPhone and the car. And then re-pair them (no pun intended).
Sometimes these things just need a quick kick in the guts.

Yeah bluetooth can be flaky.

Once I turned off the bluetooth on my iphone for one reason or another and could not for the life of me re-pair it after I switched it back on. Had to switch off the car at the traffic light and presto - paired no problem.
