Wheel Alignment
Guys,
After changing the steering wheel I decided yesterday to have a wheel alignment done on my car, bugger me the Toe was out! Front was 1.8mm and 3.0mm and rear was 1.9mm and 1.1mm. They are now both1.0mm on the rear and 1.1mm on the front. For $70 in may be worthwhile having yours checked? They wouldn't put more negative camber infor me though H |

ive tried putting neg camber in the stock suspension. The front has a pin into the strut that doesnt allow any camber change. the back was able to go a bit more neg though. My toes are 0.7 all round. This was not changed so was right for me from factory

The steering wheel is extremely easy to change mate.
I think all up it took about 10 - 15 minutes to take it off and put it back on. I had to do it over a couple of days though as I had to get the airbag sprayed. I did end with the airbag warning light but luckily i was able to code it out myself The hardest part was undoing the plastic clips that join the wiring behind the airbag. The steering wheel is great! Let me know if you need to know anything else. H |

Yes, the only reason I got the error is, a I mentioned, because I had to drive around for a day without the airbag so AFAIK, and I'm pretty confident, if you don't turn the car on without the airbag plugged in you won't get the error.
You won't be able to turn the car on when your changing the wheel as the battery will be disconnected so you should be sweet. H |

Hmm interesting to see Chris Harris complaining that the F20 steering wheel is too big and squishy... fast forward to 13.54 to watch his comments Last edited by UB; 07-30-2013 at 08:27 PM.. |

However, as UD said, it is thicker, plusher and with smooth leather rather than the "plasticy" feel of the standard one. H |
