It's going to be for my 2014... So I have to wait a little bit..

I plan on getting the tips converted to black chrome too!

You can order the black chrome tips off the sport line for about $100.

Aren't the M Performance Exhaust tips slightly larger diameter....thus, an issue with the "stock" Sport Line tips fitting over the M Perf tips?

You are correct, they will not fit over the m performance tips.

However, the m performance tips are a bit weird. They use gradually larger diameter pipes welded together to increase the diameter. I almost pulled the trigger on the purchase but wasnt a fan of the m performance tips, I've always liked the double walled. One option I thought about was cutting the welds holding on the m tips, removing them and fitting the sport lines.

They are 80mm i believe..and laser etched!

Yesterday I was at a stop light and another msport 335i (silver with NYC plates) was facing me going the opposite direction. As he passed me, since his light turned green first, he stepped on the gas a bit to give it that nice roar. I checked in my rear view and it looked like he had MPE. I had all my windows down. Hearing the MPE for the first time made me believe this is another must have option off the mperf menu. It sounds good, really good and beefy.
